[知識]塑造個人音韻品味的標竿:如何「聽」音響

就傳統的音響發燒友而言,都認為兩聲道才是立體聲錄音重播的代言人,但在我個人的觀點中,2.1的揚聲器系統,在現今狹小的都會聆聽空間中,是個更適切的選擇,但為了與多數音響玩家的條件相符,在本文中我將以多數人擁有的兩聲道系統作為範本,告訴你如何建立個人對於音響系統鑑賞品味。

聲音的變化奇妙萬千,先不論我們聆聽音樂的空間中傳遞的介質,與反射介面間的不同所造成的差異化,光是一對揚聲器的擺位,各頻段之間的交互影響所造成的差異之大,就足以讓許多音響迷感到頭痛的,而低頻又是個極難搞定的部份,處理不好的低頻容易影響到中、高頻段的聲音資訊量及密度。

一般全音域喇叭於發聲時,低音容易與空間產生過大響應,容易對中高頻段產生干擾

而在面對全音域的喇叭時(指低頻的實際表現有能力超過 70Hz者),低頻的處理更顯棘手,這也是我過去在 AV Choice 上所發表過的看法,個人認為 2.1聲道是聆聽音樂時較為理想的系統,因為低頻可被獨立分割處理。當然,獨立的低頻發送裝置超低音,若處理不當時也容易發生與中高頻段間的銜接問題,但相較之下,由於低頻的部份已可被獨立,機動性與可調性上方便許多。

非全音域喇叭因無低音,所以不易與空間產生過大響應

不論 2或者 2.1聲道,在各有利弊得失的狀況下,以一般讀者較易接觸到的中高頻作為切入點,解說揚聲器的音色、音質如何設定好基本的聆聽方式,為何做這樣的選擇?

先來複習一下聲音的頻段區分方式,基本上,我們經常聆聽到的揚聲器可發送的頻段, 除了低頻與極低頻的部份外,共由 8 個 8 度音所組成,頻段共可切分為:

中低頻 80Hz ~ 160Hz

中 頻 160Hz ~ 320Hz、320Hz ~ 640Hz、640Hz ~ 1280Hz

中高頻 1280Hz ~ 2560Hz、1280Hz ~ 2560Hz

高 頻 2560Hz ~ 5120Hz

極高頻 5120Hz ~ 10240Hz、10240Hz ~ 20480Hz

由前述的音頻頻段數據裡不難發現,在如此多的頻譜中,如何將聲音的紋理調配的景然有序、強度均勻,確實是需要一點聆聽經驗與概念。而在聆聽前,更是需要對使用的器材特性的瞭解、規格的認識必需要有概略的觀念,才不致墮入器材的迷思。

擺位與聆聽

好的揚聲器也要有合宜的擺位方式對應,如此才能盡情地發揮實力,而擺位的方式眾說紛耘,就過去的聆聽、經驗上而言,從聆聽者座位到前方左右兩個聲道的揚聲器之間,只要保持著一個近似「三角形」的形式,即可聽到正確的聲音基本形貌。

不過三角形的形狀何其多,到底何種的三角形才合乎聆聽時的基本要求,答案是AB=CD的長度,即為合乎標準的聆聽揚聲器的標準等腰三角形,在一般的狀況下,當你縮減AB間的距離時,CD的距離也將隨之變短; 拉長CD間的距離時則需將AB的距離也做等距的增長調整。

也許你看過有許多奇特的揚聲器擺位法,那樣的安排都是為了特定的效果而衍生出來的, 在一般的狀況下,還是建議採用等腰三角形的擺設方式即可,除了在擺設上要遵循著前述的等腰三角形公式外,現地的擺設狀況也會因書架型揚聲器或落地式揚聲器而有所不同。

合乎標準聆聽揚聲器的等腰三角形擺位

A書架式揚聲器( Bookshelf)

聆聽時需要注意到聆聽軸的高度,最簡便的方式便是以高音單體為基準將軸線對到眉心或者聆聽者的耳朵。對準眉心或者對準耳朵兩者間有何不同?   就整體表現上的差異而言,對準耳朵時的音像較大,但在音場感受上較不鮮明。若將揚聲器軸線對準眉心時,在定位上會較為精確。

當擺放揚聲器的位置如果呈現的聲音並不平衡,就有改變AB=CD的結構需求,舉例說明,當座位往前移時,位在左右兩側的揚聲器問距就當內縮,而揚聲器所呈現的投射內側夾角應為銳角,此時由於離左右牆面的距離較遠,因此將可以聽到更多的直接音。至於互AB= CD兩者間的改變,讀者可以自行在兩者間的位置改變,來求得聲效上的平衡。

B落地或揚聲器( Stand )

聲音的紋路並非來自音箱箱體大小,而是傳送到耳朵的焦距方向,在調整落地式喇叭時,就要注意到是否有對正聆聽區的軸線,如果軸線未對準的話,便不易有立體的音像產生。由於落地式喇叭容易遇到頻段量成上的落差,這種落差現象是基於落地式喇叭需要伸展的頻率範圍空間過於寬廣,以致於在喇叭的掌握上難度更高,所以建議讀者若能做低頻切割分配,將低頻與極低頻的部份分獨立調整,相信會對中高頻段的掌控較有利。

除了頻段分割管理外,以 by Amp (不同頻段的單體以不同的擴大機驅動,常見於大型的落地式揚聲器上)的方式處理,也不失為權宜之計,但要先了解擴大機本身分頻點設計,一般而言多高中低各一路、中高一路,亦或者中低一路,但這就像前面所提到的不過是權宜之計,事實上也不過是加強了揚聲器在特定頻段上的重播能量。所以大部份的落地式揚聲器,可以聽到的是中低頻段的能量較強。

多數揚聲器若能達到上述的要求擺設,不過是達到正確擺位的基本要求而己,並不能保證聲音一定正確,若聲音有不正確的狀況發生,消費者要注意,這絕非器材本身的錯誤, 除非已達平衡, 我們才能評斷器材本身的優劣,畢竟,空間染色、扭曲、能量分佈絕非我們現階段可以暸解的,用家必須透過對空間的暸解才能還原器材的原貌,也因此一味的更換器材、一味的增加推力,如此對聲音的失真現象只有放大,並不會有改善聲音的本質。

The Primare 35.8 has an unassuming profile. It’s simply a black box with an on/off switch, which is good start. But this is a glorious sounding amplifier. This is all a surprise. As a consumer, you must prepare to spend big on the best amplifiers for a dedicated home cinema room.
